PAUL LIONEL MORIER 1915 - 2011 Passed away in Winnipeg on October 6 at the age of 96. Predeceased by his first wife, Florence; son Normand; and brothers, Antonin, Guy, Denis and Marcel. Paul will be greatly missed by his wife Juliette; his son Gilbert (Rosemary); his grandchildren, Daniel (Josée), Philippe, Alexandre and Stéphanie; his great-grand-daughter Emilie and Juliette's son Ray and his wife Gisèle, as well as by many other close relatives. Paul was proud of his time in the Canadian army (WW II - Europe) and his career in the federal public service. He enjoyed sports, swimming well into his 80's and was an accomplished jack of all trades who could be relied upon to fix most things indoors and out. He delighted in his family and, for a number of years, travelled every Christmas with Juliette, to visit his son, daughter-in-law and grand-children. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11 at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel and the funeral mass will be celebrated at the Cathédrale de Saint-Boniface at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, followed by a reception.
